I found the easiest way to do remove the woodgrain faceplate is to take a small scewdriver, and bend the end of it until it is hooked shaped, then put the hook behind the faceplate one corner at a time, slowly pulling out until each corner pops loose. Its the best way I know how, I have took many off this way with no damage to the faceplate.
Yest, the Buick LeSabre from 1992-1994 is the same exact car, inside, outside, underside. Everything is identical, except say for the trim packages and options you get on them. Therefore, yes the cassette radio from a 1992 LeSabre will work in a 1994 LeSabre.
on some radio's you have to take the faceplate off to insert a cd
remove the screws and give it a slight tug

When the radio was installed in the 1993 Le Sabre, something was bumped or disconnected. You will have to remove the radio then check the system to see what the problem is.
Very easy. Pull faceplate cowling off, pinch together plastic pins on outside of radio and pull whole radio out.
The 3 sided plastic faceplate just snaps in with spring steel clips that come off with the faceplate. Be prepared to have to hunt for at least one that comes off the faceplate when you pull it off. The radio itself is held in with 2 screws that are obvious after the faceplate is removed.
