Just remove the small Phillips screw on the handle portion of the key. The only problem is you WILL NEED a #0 Phillips screwdriver w/ a large handle in order to apply enough torque to remove it as the screw is "loctited" in place. "Loctite" s a special glue/cement used to prevent screws from coming loose on their own. This is a BIG problem w/ Honda keys. If you bugger-up the screw , it can be replaced from Honda dealership for about $2.55 however you will still be stuck w/ problem of removing a messed up screw. Only sol'n then is to drill it out and ? re-thread key? Blessings!
