To reset the dash light indicators on a Toyota Tundra the trucks ECU will need to be reset. The simple way of resetting the ECU requires disconnecting the battery for 5 seconds. When the ECU is reset the lights will be clear.
To reset the dash cluster in a '96 Pontiac Grand Am remove both battery cables for 30 seconds. Wait for the theft lock icon to disappear then turn the car back on. The dash cluster should reset.
what do you mean a reset switch whats on ? once you change the battery u will have to run the car up to usual 25-50 mile for the computer to got through its 3 stages of cycles to clear the lights on the dash or to make the car idle again
try disconnecting the battery for a minute.
Disconnect the battery for 15-30 Mins and it will reset automatically.
unhook both battery cables for a few minutes
Press and hold the reset button on dash
On the super monitor on dash hold right button to reset
The check engine and other dash warning lights can be reset by disconnecting the vehicles battery for more then 5 minutes. If warning light continues after reconnecting battery then there is still a problem.
to reset turn the ignition to the run position open the hood and remove the fuse block cover (beside the battery) there is a red button in with the fuses that says oil reset push and hold the button for 5 seconds. Make sure the change oil light is flashing on the dash then turn key off It's now reset
There is a small black button hanging down just above gas peddel under your dash to reset this problem. You have to hold it in till you hear all the door locks reset ,then your lights will stop flashing.
