Islam religion is monotheism religion. Muslims worship one and only one God with no partner, no son, no companion, no associate, and no equivalence. God who is worshiped by Muslims is the same to all religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It is God wisdom to maintain different nations with different religions and cultures to compete in doing the good for themselves and their communities and compete in their worship and obedience to God and not to stay on conflicts and hatred. Only on the Day of Judgment, God will judge their doings and judge on their differences. Allah is God name as known in Arabic (God in English). In Arabic versions of the Bible you find God written as Allah.

Although Muslims worship same God, the Creator, as Christians and Jews, they (Both Muslims and Jews) don't believe in Jesus as God or son of God. Refer to related question below.

Why would muslims choose muhammed over Jesus?

Muslims love both Muhammad and Jesus. Muslims don't believe that Jesus is God though and Muslims believe that Muhammad is just a man, not a God like how Christians believe Jesus is. Jesus is loved throughout the Muslim community and is regarded as the "messiah" but not as God. Islam teaches that God is 1 and God needs no partners

Do Muslims recognize Jesus Christ as the son of god?

no

Is the Muslim concept of Allah compatible with the biblical view of God?

I think this depend to a greater extent on which Biblical view of God or which 'school of thought' you belong to.In my opinion there are two Biblical views about the concept of God in the Bible.(1) Jesus' view and (2) Christians' view.(1) Jesus' view of God is the same as Muslims concept of Allah."What Jesus said"Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'" [Matthew 4:10] "La ilaha ila Allah" (Muslims says)"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. [Mark 12:29] - "La ilaha ila Allah" (Muslims says)Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. [John 17:3) -"La ilaha ila Allah" (Muslims says)I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me." [John 11:42]. Jesus claimed here to be a prophet sent by God - Muslim believe Jesus to be a Prophet(2) Christians view of God "What was said for Jesus"My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. *I and the Father are one*." [John 10:29-30]Christians often quotes John 10:30 with the exclusion of John 10:29 to say Jesus claimed to be God."Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" [John 8:58]Christians claims that Jesus was claiming to be God in this sentence - simply because of the "I am".

How do Muslims religious beliefs compare to that of christians religious beliefs?

In rare cases some Christians religious believes would at the core be the same as that of Muslims, but Most christians would differ. The First item would be how each defines God. The Muslim view GOD as one and leaves it there, whereas a typical Christian would say God is one and .... associate Jesus and Mary with God in a divine manner almost equal to God. For Muslims it is forbidden to associate any partners with God, which clashes directly with the concept of the trinity. Christians believe that Jesus died for our sins, Muslims don't believe that and that only God can forgive sins. Muslims follow many of the laws prescribed for the Jews, while accepting Jesus as a prophet and messenger of God. Many Christians accept Jesus as God himself and not as a humble prophet of God.

How does Jesus view Muslims?

The Bible teaches (John 3:16) that Jesus Christ came and died and rose again because of God's love for ALL humans, Muslims included. Jesus wants Muslims to come to Him for salvation. He wants them to know who He really is and what He has done for them, and how very much He loves them. --------------------------------------------------------------- Refer to related question below for more information.

How many views do muslims have on Jesus Christ?

There is only one view of the Muslims about Hazrat Jesus. The Muslims believe in all the holy Prophets (May peace be upon them all). They do believe in Hazrat Jesus Christ (AS) a Prophet. He is also called by the Name of Messiah in the holy Qur'an. But the Muslims don't believe him the SON of Almighty God. The Muslims consider it the Greatest, Severest and Unpardonable sin to associate parents, of-spring, or Associate with Almighty God. He is the Sole Creator, Sustainer, Provider and Ruler of all the creation.
