.....Bueno los´´ Puetro Ricans ´´NO EXISTEN chico listo. ......Well the ´´Puetro Ricans´´does not exist smart guy.
We don't have an independence day.
Puerto Rico celebrates most of the holidays that the United States celebrate. Recently it combined two public holidays of theirs to create one new one called The Day of Illustrious Puerto Ricans.
we ain't dirty ok. so if yuh askin this question then yuh must be dirty. Puerto Ricans are clean, sometims the olny reason were dirty is bcuz we party and get home late and don't take a shower tht day so we take one in the mornin'. PUERTO RICANS ROCK!!!!!
Yes.
September 23rd we commemorate El Grito De Lares " The Cry Of Lares". Our first blown out revolution but since we're technically not independent as of today it's up to individual Puerto Rican's whether or not they celebrate it. Many Celebrate the 4th of July, But I see this as disrespectful to ourselves as The United States is the very same country that came and invaded and prevented our independence. Celebrating their independence as a Puerto Rican would be like celebrating the Birthday of someone who took out your mother. Kinda messed up now isn't it?
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Vetrans Day and Thanksgiving.
I dont think they celebrate april fools day in puerto rico :P -B.A.T Actually Yes we celebrate April fool in Puerto Rico it is in December 28 and we call it Dia de los inocentes =) -AnimeArtist

Because it's Awsome
Christopher Columbus invaded our land, enslaved our people, the Taino Indian (puerto ricans),Haitians &more, raped & sold our woman, tortured our people to the point of mass suicide, he drove our woman to be so ashamed they gave themselves abortions so their children wouldn't have to endure such cruelty. He slaughtered millions of our people & yet we were taught to give him thanks and to celebrate him? What a shame.
If it isn't Carnival some other Saint's day is in line, but ther also have Official Dates such as: Birthday of Eugionao Mareia des Hostas, Birthday of Luis Munoz Marin, Birthday of Jose de Diego, Birthday of Jose Barbosa, Birthday of Luis Munoz Rivera, Emancipation Day, Discovery of Puerto Rico Day and Commonwealth Constitution Day. In Puerto Rico lacks relevance but a Calendar is essential.
