Go to a Chevrolet dealership and bring with you the vehicles vin number, proof of ownership of the vehicle, personal ID and they will cut you a new key.
I assume you have a VIN number on the registration or in view from the window of the drivers side dash. You need that number and your check book- go to the dealer.
Check with your local Chevy dealer. They should be able to create another key for you. Be sure to have you vin number and vehicle information handy.
most older trucks can be started without a key
just do what i did and take out the tumblers that the key slides over.
Remove the steering wheel, Then remove the turn signals section. This takes some special tools.
call a locksmith to replace the lock cylinder and key.
Never seen one.
Could be a bad ignition switch....
That kind of key was not used in 1995 models.
Remove the retaining ring from the top of your 1977 Chevrolet pickup truck ignition key tumbler. Slide the ignition key tumbler out. Remove the wiring harness from the end of the key tumbler.
call your local Chevy dealer. they may be able to get you a new key with the vin. no.,or if you have the key tags your dealer can get you a new key.
I replaced a key on an older car (a Chevy) by taking the VIN number and Title (to prove ownership) into a dealer who was able to cut a new key. Call your local Subaru dealer and find out if they can do the same.
