How do you tell a female bearded dragon from a male bearded dragon?

normally the male has 2 visible bulges near the base of the tail or the slit. these are the hemepenes but a female has only one large bulge. you probably cant tell until they're about 6 months-1 year old anyway. And the males have bumps on their back legs and females don't.

You can't sex a beardie until they are a few months old. Do a search online to get photos of what the males and females look like. Look by where the tail and body join underneath. If there is a little bump there it is a male, if there is a V shape it is female.

The anatomical differences are slight but detectable. The male has two small pores near the anal region, and two small bulges that mark its internal hemipenes (the paired penises are only exposed for reproduction, as with snakes).

Wait till they are older. You can't tell with babies, usually females have steeper snouts then males. But i haven't the slightest idea, besides to wait.
