How do you tell if you have a male or female bearded dragon?

Look at the base of the tail (on the underside of the lizard) - if there are two distinct 'bumps' it's a male (these are the femoral pores) if there's just one larger bulge - it's a female.

you tell if it is a female by counting the dots between the legs if there is a lot than it is a female if there is not a lot than it is male.(it is harder to tell if it is young.)

Well, you can tell because a female has a hairy back and a male doesnt he has hairy legs.

turn them over. look by there bum, where the tail just starts. if there is 2 bumps roughly, it is probly a male; 1 is a probly a female. you can do this from 6 months.

Above the line that splits their body and tail there is either 1 bump or 2 bumps. 2 bumps means its a guy and 1 a girl. Males also darken their bearded more often.
