The Alarm does not affect key removal. If your key will not come out and your key cylinder is all the way turned to off then the cylinder is bad. If you can not turn the key all the way off then you have a shift linkage adjustment problem or break pedal switch bad or adjustment problem.

Press the tab and pull the turning light forward, the entire light will come off. Twist the bulb socket and pull to remove, replace the bulb.
