some people might totally freak out but, others will start to put boards on their windows and put up signs telling the hurricane to go away. Of course this never works unless the hurricane dies before it hits land. After people put up the boards they will get together a flashlight and extra batteries, a non electrical can opener, canned food, a first aid kit, a radio, containers to put emergency water in and sturdy shoes.

∙ 14y agoPeople Usually Can tell when a hurricane is coming before it comes and people get evacuated. The people that want to stay despite lose their belongings. Lucky if they survive! And after or during a hurricane, People, animals, and other stuff are usually rescued by special rescue teams.
