Change the Spark plugs, if not bin it
How do you replace the spark plugs on a Peugeot 307?
Depending on model, this engine may not have glow plugs. In engines with glow plugs, they are located next to the injectors on the top of the engine, under the plastic cover.
FECK KNOW'S
normally glow plugs are used on an IDi[ Indirect Injection] diesel engine. most peugeot 206 vehicles have an HDi engine[ Peugeot's nomenclature for Commonrail Direct injection]. hence there will be no glow plugs in those 206 vehicles. Some of the base model 206 from the first few years shipped with the non-HDi DW8 engine - which do have glow plugs. Check which model you have. If it's 1.9, then its the DW8. Else it is probably an HDi. Replace quickly if they start to fail.
on the engine
the spark plugs on a 106 should be in the top of the engine on earlyer models you should see 4 leads conected to them. a later model may not have ignition leads but a sort of ignition pack on top of the engine. the plugs would be under this.
check plugs or coil packs..
yes
remove the connecting wire - 8mm nut i think, then 10 or 13 mm deep socket on each one and un-do
your coil is most likely gone
