To remove the window first depends on it being a front window, or a rear (front being alot easier). 1. First remove the door trim, (which is in another blog file already, but simply remove the screws in the handle, at the bottom of the door trim, and at the front and rear of the door trim, followed by the door lever surround - which simply unclips at the top and bottom. Then gently push it upward to ensure all screws and fasteners are undone, and it SHOULD lift out of the slot which the window goes in and out of the door.. BUT don't pull it too far away from the door as most will have wiring attached for the window switch and possibly a door open warning light. 2. undo the 3x 10mm bolts around the electric motor and loosen the 4x 10mm bolts on the top and bottom of the window guide (the sliding mechanism that the window travels up and down on, also known as a window rail i guess). 3. Next you have to turn the ignition on and connect the window switch again to the door wiring so you can wind the window down far enough to remove the 2x 10mm bolts attaching the window mounting base plates to the window guide. After you remove these you need to push/ pull the window all the way up and find something flexible enough to support the window in its channels and keep it there while you complete the rest of this job.. I used a piece of firm packing rubber in between the window and the window slot.. BTW, turn the ignition off so you don't flatten you battery! 4. now remove the 4x 10mm bolts holding the window guide and manouvre the guide and motor (after disconnecting the motor power wire) out the largest oppening in the door, ussually the back one. 5. Installation is the reversal of this but bearing in mind to connect all wiring connections and do not tighten the 4x 10mm guide bolts until the window can go easily up and down, as it needs to find it's correct guide position for the window to work smoothly.. Well, that is how i did it, as i have a N14 Pulsar Q and replaced the original non-electric interior with the Ti spec including all door wiring harnesses, electric mirrors, electric windows, door trims, door warning lights, and all the factory wiring and switches. Hope this helps... KEViN :)
