The dip stick should be located on the passenger side close to the firewall, and on mine the handle is painted bright yellow. If it is not there, look for the metal tube on the engine where it would go. If you find it but with no dipstick, hit the junk yard or the local parts places for a new one.
Oil check valves are designed to stop the drain-back of oil. A replacement valve costs between $25 and $30 depending on where you buy it.
The Geo Metro hatchback may take up to 4 or 4.5 quarts of oil.

The type of oil that should be put into a 1995 Geo Metro is 5 W 30. The car uses approximately 5 quarts of oil.
Was told a 93 Geo Metro with high miles should us 10W30.
I have a 1991 geo metro with a 1.0 liter 3 cyl. that takes 3.7 quarts with filter.I also have a 1991 geo tracker 1.6liter four cyl.that takes 4.6 quarts with filter.If you put in 3 quarts for the 3 cyl and 4 quarts for a 4 cyl then top off as needed you can't go wrong.

Check the dipstick tube o-ring. that's how I stopped my oil leak on my 1994 Geo Metro. I was having the same problem. The part only cost about .39 cents. Go to any hardware store to find it. Hope this helps
