How do i get rid of painful shin splints I've tried heat compression ice rest elevation stretching and nothing has worked what should i do?

Well, you can start by going to your doctor. Ask him what to do, he will probably give you some type of medication. If for some reason you refuse to go to the doctor, get tons of rest and use bath salts to relax the muscles.
