No front brake calipers are to big. If you must calipers can be machined down at a big cost.
the half tons can only fit 17 and bigger due to rubbing on the brake calipers in the front. the 3/4 tons can fit 16
No need to rotate the front caliper pistons as you compress the front calipers. That process is only for the rear calipers because of the parking brake mechanism.

Yes. If your question is regarding the operation of the calipers. They do operate in the same manner as the front calipers.
If your asking about what size wrench is needed to remove the bolt that holds the front brake calipers on a 93 Chevy pick up, it would be a 3/8" allen wrench.

take the wheels off, unbolt the brake calipers and the pull them off and now you can just pull the rotors off.

Cailbers have NO adjustment. They have a piston that moves in and out as the brake is pushed down.
Not to sure what your asking for but if you are trying to remove the front brake calipers so you can replace the brake pads you will need a 3/8" Allen wrench.
