Well personally, Teen pregnancy goes both ways. It doesn't bother me if the teen has a place to raise the baby and money to take care of it, and it knows the mother AND father. But then it really makes me upset when a teen ends up pregnant and doesnt take care of it. Abortion isn't an answer either. If a teen gets pregnant and cant take care of the child, then they need to give it up for adoption or something, not mistreat it or not take care of it. Every child deserves to be born and have a life whether it be with the biological parents or foster parents.
Well lets look at the statistics in America, or in Australia, or in England, and Germany, and Switzerland and Russia, and in South America, and in Canada, and in Africa, and in Hawaii, and in China, and in Japan, and IN Poland, and in Korea, and in Hungary, and in France and in Italy, and in Rome, and in Greece and in Spain and in any other country.

Let's look at the children under twenty years of age who are currently pregnant out side of marriage...its enormous. And why, is it so? it is so, simply because these daughters cannot keep their legs closed and their hearts and minds off of sex? and off of moral accountability, not only to themselves but to their parents as well and to God too.

And it is also so, because their sons are equally as bad and accountable too.

What my research has shown regarding teen pregnancy:

The main cause of teen pregnancy in any country is nature is taking its course. The main cause of teen pregnancy in societies where it is not appropriate is a denial of nature's drive to take its own course.

In societies where the teen years are the appropriate age for a female to become a bride and bear children, the society is structured to support that teen, those babies, that family system. Those are the places where the whole village raises the children.

In complex modern societies, this is far from the case. Yes there are programs in place and families that step up and do their best 'in a bad situation'. But society as a whole not only does not support teen parents, but accuses and blames them. These same societies are the cause of teen pregnancy by not dealing with reality.

In any society, human physical, mental, emotional, and social development is at its height from adolescence to late teens, early twenties. This is what is normal for a human. In modern complex societies, this period in a person's life is when we learn how to function as an adult. Add to the mix that somewhere in the middle of the teen years is the normal part of human development where begin to make our own decisions and resist our caregivers control; this is part of our preparation to function on our own. Then you have to pile on our parents', schools', communities', and our own expectations. For an average teen in modern society it can be overwhelming. It's a lot to deal with while you're trying to learn.

That's the set up; what does society provide for a successful outcome? Well, despite a parent's and a school's best efforts, by the time the person has their thirteenth birthday, society has bombarded them with thousands and thousands of counterproductive messages of all kinds from every corner of their world. Messages telling teens who they are, who they should be, and the dire social consequences if they don't comply. The messages are relentless, never ending, and fed back to them as reinforcement by their peers. Who is sending these messages? People selling something; people selling product or philosophy for the purpose of profit. Even adults are subject to such messages delivered for the same purpose. And try as you might, you can't shelter yourself much less your child from them. The problem arises, not in the fact that we can't avoid counterproductive messages and influences, but in the fact that most adults don't fully comprehend the constant coercion that they live with and can't prepare the burgeoning adults for its impact.

Living the minefield of normal development of the teen years in a society that does not teach them how to negotiate the public minefield, teens will make inappropriate choices. How can you expect otherwise. To blame the teen or the parents or even the school, to blame at all is not dealing with the real problem. You can't deal with the real problem until you are aware of its existence. Adult society has to learn how to reconcile the public society that we live in before adult society can teach vulnerable teens how to successfully negotiate the world they're thrust into. That's how I feel.

This is how I feel about teen pregnancy:

Life is hard, life is so much harder for a teen who is pregnant. Whatever her circumstances, whatever her country, whatever her religion, whatever her society, the teenager is bringing a gift to the world; an innocent child with all the potential of anyone else in the world.

As you discuss the issues, ponder the solutions, don't forget that this child's future is in the hands of the community it comes into and it's time for potential is ticking the moment it's born. This is the moment that you stop looking for blame and start showing this child they're welcome. And even as you try to come up with solutions, do what you can to help this mother live up to her potential.

A few my favorite people came into this world under these circumstances, and they turned out well because the world that they came into took care to see that their life was valued. That's how I feel about teen pregnancy.

Generally because teenagers can't provide the best life for the child that doesn't go for everyone there are some exceptions but doesn't it just sound like the child will have a better life with parents who have a steady job with better then min. pay , more experience in life , and who have finished their education to whatever level they wanted and can provide for the child without the help of others?

# How many drops out of school?

# What do their parents say?

# Will they get complications during the pregnancy?

That's what I can come up with now.

Teen pregnancy is a very touchy subject. My personal opinion is that if we opened more lines of communication to our teens, and provided methods of birth control along with more forms of sex education, (i.e. responsibility, risk factors etc.) , than the percentage of teen pregnancies would be greatly reduced.

Yes, I would say that a very big majority is not happy when their teen comes home telling them she's pregnant or that he is going to become a father.
