How do people use the quran?

- Reading, reciting or listening to the recitations of the Holy Quran is a worship.

- You can't pray without reciting from the Holy Quran, for example the opening chapter of it " Surat Al-Fatiha" is needed in each raka'a " Part of the prayer".

- In addition to that, The Holy Quran is the first source of laws & recommendations in Islam. It's the Divine word of God, obeying it is actually an obeying to the God.

Muslims don't worship Quran. They worship only God (Allah) the one and only one God who has no partner, no father, no son, no companion, and no resemblance.

Muslims believe in Quran as God revelation to Prophet Muhammad (peace upon him) through the Angel Gabriel (Jibril). They used to recite Quran frequently especially in Ramadan. They show respect to Quran, as God words, when reciting it by ensuring to be clean and pure the same way as preparing for praying (they should be free from what forbids them from Salat).
