Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet and a very good man. The do not believe that He was / is the Son of God, as Christians do. The do not believe in His deity, or His return.

As Written in Quran

1)

Al-Qur'an, 002.087 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])

We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!

2)

002.136 Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)."

Al-Qur'an, 002.136 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])

3)

002.253 Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.

Al-Qur'an, 002.253 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])

4)

003.003 It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).

Al-Qur'an, 003.003 (Aal-E-Imran [The Family of Imran])

There are 25 Verces of Jesus(PBUH) in Quran and in 3 its a Refrences to Jesus(PBUH) total 28 so according to these Verces we Muslims dont Beleive Jesus(PHUB) as a Son of Allah but Son of Mary

and he is considered as one the Prophets which send by Allah to ManKind.....

Jazak Allah. The answer is quite comprehensive. We may add that the birth of Hazrat Jesus Christ (MPBUH) was miraculous. His ascent to heavens is miraculous as the holy Qur'an says that he was not crucifies, rather Almighty God saved him and instead the person who entered the prison was given the resemblance of Jesus and thus he was crucified, while Hazrat Jesus Christ (May peace be upon him) ascended to heaven where he is still alive and will descend to the earth before the end of the world.

The Muslims believe in all the holy Prophets (May peace be upon them all). They do believe in Hazrat Jesus Christ (AS) a Prophet. He is also called by the Name of Messiah in the holy Qur'an. He was miraculously born to Virgin Marry (AS). He performed many miracles.

The Jews turned against him and tried to get him crucified at the hand of the Roman Governor, but Almighty God raised him alive to heavens.

He will descent from heavens before Qiyamat. He will marry, have children, die a natural death, and will be buried near the grave of the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). He will rise up on the Day of Judgment with him.

Anybody who claims that he is Jesus Christ and has descended from heaven is not a Muslim. He is a false prophet sent by Satan as there have been many false claimants of prophet-hood before this time.

But the Muslims don't believe him the SON of Almighty God. The Muslims consider it the Greatest, Severest and Unpardonable sin to associate parents, off-spring, or Associate with Almighty God. He is the Sole Creator, Sustainer, Provider and Ruler of all the creation.

Muslims do believe in Jesus. They believe that he is a prophet and messenger of god. They do not believe that Jesus is god, however Muslims love and respect Jesus very much. Muslims believe that Jesus (Isah) is still alive and in heaven with God. They believe that God made an evil man that wanted to hand Jesus look like Jesus to the evil mans friends were fooled. They thought that he was Jesus and hung him instead even though he tried to tell them he wasn't Jesus. Muslims believe that Jesus was brought up to heaven with God and is still living. Muslims believe that there is only 1 god, Allah and that Jesus is one of Allah's prophets. Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the last prophet. Muslims believe that Muhammad is the last prophet of Allah. Muslims follow what prophet Muhammad does and follow what is in their religious book: The Holy Quran. Muslims also follow Hadiths. (words from the prophet Muhammad)

The Muslim belief regarding Jesus is that he was the Messenger and Prophet of God, just like his predecessors Abraham, Moses, Jacob and John. Jesus, whose name in Arabic is "Isa" is the son or Mary (Mariyam. Muslims believe that Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus by the order of Allah Almighty. When Jesus was born, his mother took him to her tribe and when they approached Mary regarding the child, she signalled towards the newborn baby who was in her arms. Thereupon, Jesus conversed to the people in the accent of a grown up adult and said: "I am the servent of Allah, and his Messenger and have been given the Gospel." (Surah-al-Mariyam.)

By the power of Allah, Jesus could revive the dead and heal the sick. He was granted miracles by Allah.

The basic concept of Islam is "Tawhid", Unity and Oneness of God. He is One, had no partner and is Sovereign. As is described in Surah-al-Ikhlas. God can have no son and He has no consort. This has been repeated time and again in the Quran. The Muslims believe and respect Jesus and his mother and believe in his return. He is the Messenger and Prophet of God, just like the other prophets. His birth was a miracle and sign of God, and it does not somehow mean that Jesus was Divine or the son of God.

Furthermore, it should be noted that according to Muslim faith, Jesus was not crucified but taken up into the heavens by God. When his enemies came to take him, God called Jesus and changed the appearance of the main planner, 'Yahuda', into that of Jesus. The Roman soldiers and the other Jews captured him and crucified him. Muslims believe that Jesus is alive and will come back along with the "Mahdi".

Answer A

Muslims believe that Jesus is just a prophet like Mohammad and not the Son of God as Jesus claimed in the New Testament (Luk 22:70, Mat 26:63-64, Mat 27:43, Joh 5:25, Joh 9:35-38, Joh 10:36, Joh 11:4, Rev 2:18). Muslims deny the main message of the New Testament (Mat 20:17-19, Mar 10:45, Mat 17:9, Mat 16:21,Mat 26:28, Mar 8:31, ...) and the prophesies from the Old Testament (Isa 53:5-11, Dan 9:26) that Jesus died for sinners.

Muslims believe that Jesus is unique in the following way even from the Islam's prophet Mohammad - sinless (Surah 19:19), virgin born, not touched by satan, coming to earth again, highly honored in the next life, His followers will be exalted (Surah 3:55), power to give life, raise the dead and heal the blind by Allah's permission

Jesus has unique names in Quran such as the Spirit of God, the Word of God and Al-Masih (the Messiah).

Answer B (Hint on the above)
  • It is mentioned in Quran (Muslims holy book that reflects read God word revelation to prophet Muhammad; peace be upon him; in its real Arabic words) that Jesus (peace be upon him) never claimed that he is son of God or God.
  • Muslims believe that Jesus is one of the five greatest prophets; namely Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad
  • Muslims believe that All Jesus miracles are by God (the Creator) support and permission.

The same way Jesus viewed himself. As a Prophet sent by the One and ONLY TRUE GOD.

  • Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent [John 17:3].
