Remove airbox, drive shafts, all connectors onto gearbox, gear selector rod, battery and battery tray, starter motor and then all bolts securing the gearbox. Remove gearbos, and then remove the bolts securing the clutch. Fit new clutch making sure you allign the clutch plate. Refit everything in reverse.
Just done it-the problem you will have is you will think that their isn't enought room to lower-get the rack out, The answer is to wind the rack left or right depending on left or right hand drive, this moves the rack out of the way of the front subframe-allowing it to drop-clear of the subframe and to the ground. I cannot see any other way to do this. To refit- remove one wheel and enter the rack from the centre outwards and then back on itself. Their is on need to remove or disasemble the rack end shafts to remove the rack or install it, best of luck chris
Seal gone! Remove driveshaft pull seal out, check shaft for damage/wear. Refit new seal and rebuild
You remove the speedo cable and drive and fill up the oil through the hole then refit the cable. It is held in bt a 9mm bolt and a plate.
unplug from loom, get big spanner and unscrew from exhaust. refit in reverse
Usually you will have to remove and refit a new unit, which includes both connectors and solenoids.

remove ur battery..then wait 10 min .refit

I changed the water pump on my 99 suburban in about 3 hours. Drain the coolant from the system. remove the radiator cowling. remove the radiator. remove the fan. remove the serpentine belt. remove the hoses connecting to the water pump remove 4 bolts holding the water pump onto the block clean the block of any old gasket fit the new water pump and new gasket. connect the hoses to the pump. refit the serpentine belt refit the fan refit the rad and cowling fill it up with coolant. Run the engine and check for leaks. Best of luck I found it quite easy compared to some European cars I have had.
