You act exactly the same as you would if you were any other race. Ethnicity has nothing to do with the way someone acts, and thinking in such a way is stereotyping and leads to more intense racism.

Ethnicity can have much to do with how someone acts, and different races and ethnicities can have different cultures - and different ways of acting. No one believes that a white "redneck" from Arkansas is going to act the same way as a black Haitian CEO. Or conversely, that a black Crip from LA will act the same as a white Boston priest.

For better or worse, colors are associated with degrees of probability as to social situation. And that is lamentable.

If one is then going to "act" like a white Englishman, they must pretend to have a broomstick in an uncomfortable region, be prissy and wimpy, hypocritical and boring. Similarly, if one is going to "act" like a white Irishman, one needs only pretend to be drunk and say "shoranbegorrah" a lot.

Not all Englishman and Irishman are like that, but it's their notable stereotypes, so you can't "act" like them unless you do that, or something like it.

Acting "black" is similarly distressing. If one wishes to act like a black Muslim, one should dress in a plain black suit, never smile, and pretend to have that same broomstick in the same location as the white Englishman. If one wishes to act like a black ghetto person, one would imitate the less desireable elements portrayed in rap songs.
