You can right click on your timeline, (make sure you're not clicking on a video clip) and select "Insert Video Track."
Or
Click "Insert" on your top control bar, then select "Video Track."
Or
Press Ctrl+Shift+Q
The same basic ideas apply for audio layers, just select "Audio" instead.
The shortcut for adding an audio layer is Ctrl+Q.
add an extra layer , text is just a text layer, for say cutting out stuff or whatever it can get kind of confusing for beginners but be sure to youtube it for a visual look.
keep adding text in a separate video layer. Its time consuming but if you love the video it will seem like no time to do it.
Sony Vegas 9 Platinum does not, but Sony Vegas Pro does
add an extra video layer, than its media generator, click text and make it go on the layer over. I always thought of it like putting stickers on say a piece of paper when I started off.
yes they can but sony Vegas pro 9 files cant be edited in sony Vegas pro 8
No. There is no version of Sony Vegas for Linux.
Well Sony Vegas 9 Has a few More Effects and Transitions.
Sony
.veg (Sony vegas project file)
Adobe After Effects is not quite the same as Sony Vegas Pro. A better comparison would be sony vegas and adobe premiere. After Effects is for doing short VFX in it, and sony vegas and premiere are for editing a clip.
No unfortunately. Looking for a patch. Russ
Yes! Sony Vegas is a good program for editing movies. I have bought this program during Christmas. I had trials for Adobe Premier, Corel Video Studio, and Sony Vegas. In the end I chose Vegas. My school has bought Corel Video Studio and it was not a good decision. I say get Sony Vegas.
