Leak in heater core
If the coolant fan does not operate on a Chevy Corsica, it is likely that a fuse is out. There could also be a mechanical defect in the fan or wiring.
how to add coolant to 1991 lumina?
Mine does not. Perhaps you a low on coolant.
Air conditioner coolant? You mean freeon.. To add freeon you have to remove the usually red. Then go get a small bottle. (you cannot buy a large quanity without a license). The cap will be above the ac fan on your front end unscrew it, thne screw the bottle on, fill then remove. Quite eaisly.
My 96 corsica does the same thing, so maybe this will help: I have a small coolant leak, and I have to put more antifreeze in quite regularly. when my coolant level is too low, my heat stops working. try checking your coolant levels, remember to use universal or dexcool.
The overflow resavour is where you add coolant
First off, if you are having to add coolant, then you have a leak that needs to be repaired. Add coolant on a cold engine by removing the radiator cap and filling the radiator to the top. Fill the recovery reservoir to the cold full mark. Start the engine and let it run until no air bubbles are present. Replace the cap, and drive the car for at least 10 miles. Check the recovery tank level and add to the full hot mark.
