Easy answer! Intake & Exhaust, K&N makes and aftermarket air intake for the 98' Firebird so do several other companies but from personal experience nothing beats or surpasses K&N when it comes to adding a few more horses under the hood. Exhaust wise I would recommend a flow master or dynamax muffler or go wild and go loud with a glass pack like cherry bomb or thrush and if you really have balls either go no muffler straight cat or cut the cat and go manifold to muffler, now obviously due to pollution laws most likely in your state this is illegal but i've seen it done, do at your own risk. NOS is another option but expensive and can be dangerous if you don't know what your doing. Anyways there are several more options but just as well several limitations due to the engine being a 3.8l so when all else fails buy a V8! Good luck and happy speeding!
98 + 38 = 136
I have a 98 V6 and my horsepower is 202. I have a 98 V6 and my hp is 202
In the exhaust manifolds.
yes they do
15.5 gallons
The the 1969 OLDS 98 had 365HP
I had the same problem with my 98 firebird. Took it to good auto repair shop and they fixed them with no problem. Not cheap but not that expensive. Can't remember the explanation of why they did this.
You can subtract. 98 - 60 = 38, so 1:38
235 horse is stock on 98 305
98 horsepower
The cold air induction kit will only add power at the upper RPMs that you will rarely see and it will be very little. As for the chip, not to worry, you are not going to add enough horsepower to hurt the transmission.
