Assuming you are asking about an automatic transmission, the Transmission Fluid is added through the tube where the dipstick is located. Pull out the dipstick and using a funnel add a little fuid at a time, check the level often because you do not want to overfill the transmission - you want the fluid in between the marks on the dipstick. If you are asking about a manual transmission, there is a screw plug on the side of the transmission somewhat higher than the center of the body. Unscrew the plug and use your finger to feel the level of the fluid. A manual transmission is full when the level of the fluid is at the bottom level of the hole. Be sure and use the correct fluid, whether it be transmission fluid or lube.
