I have a 1985 dodge pickup with a 225 slant six and a 3 speed overdrive transmission how do i adjust the clutch.
The power of the engine and the maximum speed of the 1965 Truck Dodge D-400 Motor Slant six 6cyl are 110 hp and 75 mph respectively.
The population of Slant Six Games is 100.
Slant Six Games was created in 2005.
Don't mess with that adjustment. The idle speed is electronically controlled.
it is a 1976 dodge with a slant six and is a manual. It only does it after it has been running awhile.is there a checklist to determine what's wrong.I have been told to let it idle till its cooled Down but when I park it I want to get out....not wait 20 minutes lol? Be sure the timing and idle speed are set correctly and that the thermostat and cooling system is functioning properly.
there were 2 or 3 different sizes of slant sixes.
Sorry, it will not fit. Although the transmissions themselves share the same internals and designations, the bellhousings are different and will not bolt together. A slant six transmission will only fit a slant six.
a slant 6 does in fact have a timing chain but it rarely ever wear out, break, or stretch, because of the durability of a slant 6.
The oil used in a slant six cylinder is typically 10w-30.
Need to be more specific
If it is not a Dodge Aspen or the Plymouth Volare the specs are, Spark plug gap .035, Timing with standard trans 6 degrees, with automatic trans 2 degrees, Idle speed hot in neutral or park 700. The Aspen and Volare have different specs. If it is a California vehicle the specs are also different.
