At 16 yards, probably the improved modified choke in a 30 inch bbl is the most commonly used
for a start a holley needs tuning nearly every week. the 390 did not have a holley as standard, but the holley carb is a cheap replacement. find a mechanic that knows how to tune a holley and that may fix the problem. holley carbs are good on race cars ,especially when there is time between races to retune them.
Mercurys were equipped with Autolite 4100, if a 4-barrel, or the Autolite 2100 if a 2-barrel. The Autolite 4100 is one of the finest carbs ever made. It was designed by Holley and is a square-bore carb similar to the HOlley 4150.
Unless you modify the intake manifold with some welding an adapter plate is required to install a Weber or Holley 5200 carb on a Mazda B2200 or B2000. The adapter plate for the Weber 32/36 will work to install the Holley 5200 as well. See the attached links for additional information.
is that a pump, single bbl, double bbl, auto ??????? what model is written on gun ???? It's a double bbl with double hammers. I did not see any model number on it.
by turning or loosening the choke you are increasing the diameter of the bbl. by tightening the choke you are decreasing the diameter. all the way tight is full choke about 6 clicks open is modified and about 6 more clicks open is improved cylinder. shoot your gun on full or all the way tight into a target then open the choke up to modified shoot again then open it to imp. cyl. and shoot again. the clicks you may need to turn your particular choke may be a little different than mine. kell.
Start at 1 1/2 turns from seat and adjust for best idle 1/4 turn at a time
Adjust the throttle stop screw located on the side of the carb that has your throttle linkage connected to it.
These Japanese made A5's were selling from $800-$1200 this past year.
It might not be on the bbl. Check the receiver.
