On the rear brake calipers look for a hex nut just right at the back of the piston , unbolt it and with the Allen wrench turn right the inner pin carefully until the pads touch the disc and then move back 1/3 turn. and put the cover bolt and that's all. you have to do it in both calipers
I have a 2000 pontiac grand am gt 3.4 auto trans with rear disc brakes how do i adjust the emergy brakes no adjustment under car how is is done?
My 93 Escort GT had the fuel cut-off switch in the trunk, driver's side.
On the 93' Escort GT it is on the backside of the engine under the car near the firewall.
i think the biggest engine you could fit in a 1993 ford escort gt 1.8 is a 1998 ford escort zx2 2.0 turbo engine with intake manifold and coilovers to get hp that you can actually manage in the car. but then you would have to completely redo the wiring harness from a zx2 to a 93 escort and get the transmission from the zx2 to fit also in the 93 escort, with the right motor mounts youll be set.
I have a 93' escort GT and the voltage regulator is actually part of the alternator (all one piece). I had to replace the whole thing. But if yours is a 2 piece, it would be bolted on the outside of the alernator.
remove the speedometer cable where in enters the tranny and that is where you check/fill
driverside door jam just above exterior paint colors
The brakes and clutch share the same reservoir.
I think the ford tx3 awd trans works in the escort you will have more fun with that.
Yes it does. I had a 1990 Escort GT. It was a lot of fun to drive..Fast!
Yes, it is called a manual steering rack. You can find it on partsamerica.com or autozone.com. They run around $300 including the core charge.
What is the engine size? ............auto or manual?
