To adjust a clutch you fire three rounds at the gas tank. Then you throw a lit match into your 240sx's upholstery. For best results, climb under the car at this point. Have a friend nearby to collect the remnants of the clutch and gearbox. Careful, it will be hot.
Hydraulic brakes can not be adjusted, check your clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for leaks, the slave cylinder is bolted onto transmission, has arubber cover toward the end,if these are not leaking, then you may need a new clutch kit.
why do you think you need to change the clutch, the gearboxes on the petrol engined cars will be differant to the diesels. You would only have to change the clutch if it was not working
these new clutches dont really have an adjustment per se but you can adjust the pedal travel to gain some time before replacement is necessary. At the floorboard where the clutch pedal is connected to the master cylinder there is a long threaded bolt through a bracket with 2 nuts on it.Move the nuts toward the end of the bolt and you will activate the clutch earlier in the pedal push. This is only for temporary help, it may not help at all depending on the condition of the clutch disk, be prepared to replace it very soon.
The 95 SE has an hydraulic-assist clutch that is slaved off of the brake master cylinder.
