There is an idle set screw located on the throttle body just above the air inlet. It is usually covered by gray paint and must be cleaned for the flat blade screwdriver to fit in it. The procedure is as this: With the car running, open (turn counter clockwise) the screw a few revolutions but don't completely remove it. Then with the idle air control motor (located on back of intake manifold next to the throttle body with its 2-wire connector on the underside) unplugged turn the screw back in until the motor comes close to dying then plug the motor back in. Yeah, it will fit. But the 1991 civic sohc 1.5 transmission is cable and the 1992-1995 transmission is hydraulic. So yeah it will fit no it will not work with out doing other work. Also The speed sensor is cable in the 1991 and the 1992-1995 is electronic,.....so more work.
