There is no adjustment of the pump. You can adjust belt tension, by loosing and adjusting tension with the bolts holding it in place, but that is all.
drive belt slipping. adjust by taking up little slack or if worn replace belt and adjust tension correctly.

The power steering is not adjustable.
There are a couple types of power steering fluids that can be used on a Chevrolet Silverado. One can use a CHF 11S or a Dexron III.Ê
there is an adjustment tab or hook under neath and you just about have to lay flat on your back pull up the tension and have someone else tighten the bolts from above.
You probably need to add power steering fluid.
belt tensionTo adjust the belt tension loosen the three bolts( two of them have adjusting slides) and take a pry bar and insert between the bracket and pump to tighten. bob leverette ashford, al.bull crap their is none on the power steering pump their is just a tention pulley on the opposite side of the engine but it auto tightens
It does not matter on that year, just make sure that it is POWER STEERING FLUID.
You NEED to replace the rack and pinion steering unit.
GM. Power steering fluid. Standard Power Steering Fluid. You can use ATF Dex3 in a pinch, but I dont reccomend it.
in front of the engine, on the passenger side, you should have the power steering pump. Open the reservoir cover and fill with power steering fluid.
