Stock 350's have hydraulic lifters, so feeler gauges aren't needed. Get yourself a Chilton's manual or similar and read up on the valve adjustment process.
I believe the clearance should be within .002 and .007 thousands of an inch. and also the end play clearance, should be between .002 and .007. you should check the bearing caps with plastic gauge, and the end play wiyh a feeler gauge.
Take off the valve cover & loosen or tighten the rocker arms. This should not be done by amateurs. Misadjustments can cause valve to piston clearance problems.
2000-2005 have 6 cylinders but the 06 ss has 8 cylinders
4-cylinders, the 3.5L's have 5 cylinders
Depending on the individual car, they come with 4 cylinders or 6 cylinders.
It could have 4, 6 or 8 cylinders.
The 1990 Chevy G20 has a 5.7L Small block 350 v8. So It has 8 cylinders :)
