You can usually start with the easyest way (unless you feel like tearing the block apeart like a mad scientist), under/or around the distributor there should be a bolt. Loosen the bolt enough to rotate the distributor. BEFORE you do this, start your engine! They make Timing Lights if you are going to precice timing.
