look under the driver side right beside the transmission there is a slide with a bolt and nut loosen them and have someone put the lever in place then tighten

The transmission uses a cable for linkage. If the car has consol shift the cable runs from the shifter to the transaxle. If it is a column shift the cable runs from a lever on the column to the transaxle.

there is a idle screw you can adjust on the throttle linkage under the hood. very simple. have someone push the gas so you can see where the linkage comes to a rest and you should see a screw. turn it counter clockwise to idle it down. and vice versa. very easy
