Pontiac ohc 6 service questionsI have the same vehicle. I have a 69 Pontiac service manual printed in may 71. You can get one from "The Parts Place" in Elburn IL. they have a web site but I don't remember it. You can go to the library and get a chiltons repair manual for your year car and it will have all the specs in it.
Yes. '71 was still a Pontiac block. I think '77 trans am's were the last to receive Pontiac blocks.
If it's new, you may have to cut it to fit. You don't need to remove the fan to install it, just slide it in between the fan and the radiator. It will be a very tight fit, just go slow. Once it's in, you will need to install the 4 bolts on the top, and 2 on the bottom.
there are no dodge letters on the challenger hood at all.
No,71 and 72 superbeetle hoods are longer than 73 and later, that have round windshield and 71 and 72 have flat windshield,by the way the hood is longer than 73 and later.

the 71 cutlass has no cable pull on latch in the middle of grill or just below frt. bumper
If the 71 is a standard then yes it will fit.
