take approximately 15 feet of nylon or strong string and tie it to the center hitch on the back of the 4 wheeler. next run the string completely around the outside of the 4 wheeler approximately half way up on the side of all 4 tires and pull it tight and tie it off where you started. make sure that you are not getting interferrance from the lugs on the tires (may have to move it up or down). the string should be tight against the sidewalls on both back tires. now go to each front tire and adjust the tie rod ends so that there is equal distance from the string to the sidewall of the tire on each front tire. this method will get you very very close to perfect alignment and is quick to perform.
