Go down to your local Florida DMV and apply for either a Motorcycle Endorsement if you already have a Florida drivers license or a Motorcycle only license if that is all you want. You will have to take the Class E drivers test and complete the Basic Riders Course in order to get the license. In order to get an endorsement you will also have to have complete the Florida Rider Program.

Are you sure you don't mean a 60cc scooter? Because a motorcycle with a 600 cc engine is not called a scooter. For a scooter and moped with a 60cc engine or smaller, you need to be 16, attend a driving safety corse and pass a test.
