I don't know the answer, but I wanted to comment for those that might not know, this is a side post battery (I assume... I have a '94 which is a side post)
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cables and boots, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, attach the boots and cables, and connect the battery.
A 1996 Buick Regal will jump start using a portable battery pack. Another person can also use jumper cables to help jump start another car.
THe battery is under the back seat so you have to TAke all theose cables out
Disconnect the Regal battery cables. Find the battery clamp then remove it. Lift the battery out, then put the new one in. install the clamp, then connect the battery cables.
You need another vehicle. Find a friend with a car and ask if he has jumper cables. if they have them they can assist.
Check battery and cables
Clean battery terminals, then tighten down the battery cables. With the ignition key---like any other time.
First take the cables off then the hold down then lift the battery out. Clean the battery box with a mixture of soda and water then spray it with WD40 then install the new battery and clean the cables before you reinstall them.
remove the brace over the battery (left side). unbolt the box that houses the relays and fuses. undo battery cables and replace
Disconnect the battery of the car, remove the cables and boot covers, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, replace the cables and boot covers, and connect the battery.
Dead battery? Loose or corroded battery cables? Wire disconnected at top of starter?
