The first step is to turn your current resume into an HTML document. Most modern word-processing software will let you do this using the "Save as..." dialog. You can also run an internet search for online conversion tools to turn the current format into HTML.
If you do this, you want to open it up in your favorite browser, just to be sure things haven't been jostled too much.
