If he knows you like him, I'll asume he also acts weird around you. because of this, just tell him that you want to be friends. Invite him to a party or a movie and bring a bunch of friends. Ask him to sit with you and your friends at lunch or ask him if you can sit with him. just be nice to him like you would any other friend.
