To become more flexible you would want to stretch more until you are satisfied with how flexible. I am a dancer and I stretch a lot to become more flexible. Things I do is do my splits, right, left, and center, and I do the wall stretch and push myself against the wall as a couple of my stretches. But before you do all of this make sure you stretch out your back, arm, leg, stomach, neck, ankle, and a lot of you muscles or else you can pull something.

I want to become more flexible and i do stretches a couple of times a day for 20-30 minutes. I have been doing it for a week now and I am already seeing a difference. Swimming will exercise you and so will yoga but out of these two to become flexible yoga.

You have to continually work on stretching certain muscles out. It will take a while.

I improved my flexibility drastically-I could not even touch my toes, and now I can touch my head to my knees and my palms to the ground-by simply sitting on the ground and reaching for my toes. You can bend your ankles back as far as you want in order to grab your toes, and then attempt to point your toes. This will pull you forwards and bend you down. Hold this position for about 30 seconds.

If you cannot touch your toes when sitting on the ground, bend one leg so that one foot is touching your opposite thigh. Then reach for the other foot. Repeat on both sides. Hold each side for about 30 seconds.

However, if you do not have time to do this, there is an easier way, albeit one that takes slightly longer. Just stop bending your knees to pick things up off the floor. It will be difficult at first, but soon it will become natural.

If you can do both, it will improve your flexibility quickly.

Find about 5 to 7 stretches to do each day and keep this in a routine, then your body will gradually build up more strength to endure this kind of physical exertion and flexibility. After a while of doing these stretches your body will easily perform the tasks at hand as second nature, as it will be so used to doing it.

To get more flexible you should stretch everyday, I am a gymnast and it really helps when you stretch, your muscles loosen and it feels really nice!:) The first couple of day may not seem like the stretching is doing anything but after awhile you will see improvement.

I'm a ballerina, and to become more flexible, you have to stretch properly. You should hold your stretches between 20 seconds and one minute. If you feel any pain, then stop, because you aren't stretching correctly. You should not over-stretch to the point where you can barely move. IF you do feel pain, stop immediately. While you stretch, relax and remain still. If you move a lot while you stretch, your muscles won't be able to hold it. Also, you should stretch every day, going a little farther each day. If you miss a day, it will take more time to become more flexible. Also, before you stretch, warm up. The best time to stretch is right after you take a shower.

I am a dancer so I am very experienced with becoming more flexible. What I did to become more flexible was to stretch every night (Here is a link to a good website http://www.fitsugar.com/5-Easy-Hamstring-Stretches-1983373) and then about once every two weeks I just pushed myself as far as I could in my splits until I could not go any farther. Other than that don't get discouraged and remember, flexibility takes time.

in order to become flexible you need to stretch everyday. there are tons of fantastic stretches out there but i would recommend dance stretches. remember that part of flexibility depends on how yo were born.

you can increase flexibility by using different stretches. if u are stretcing ur shoulders u can put your hands on your lower back and have someone push in ur elbows until they touch. you can also lay on the ground with legs straight and put ur hands flat down behind u and have ur hands close together.

practice splits daily.

stretch against, do splits and have someone pull your chect up until you feel pain or walk ur hands down the wall until they touch the wall than come back up

antoher stretch i lk its over splits and u have one foot on an object off the ground (any height) and the back leg in a split on the floor. you can do this for middle splits to and you can also have your back leg on the block

another stretch i love is pike to pikes. sit in a pike, push through a stradle until u are on ur stomach and push back to a stradle than to a pike.
