It's like bleeding a brake system, check what DOT brake fuild you need in the owners manual. First two guys will make this much easlier. Make sure the reservoir is full of brake fluid. Leave the lid off to aid in the bleeding of the hydraulic system. Local the Slave cylinder to the hydraulic clutch line, typically located near the Transmission cutch fork. There should be a *10mm nut with a hole, which is the bleeder valve. Take a vacuum line or any hose you have availble to fit tightly over the nipple of the bleeder valve into a container submerged in a few onces of brake fluid. This is to prevent air from reentering the hydraulic line. Now your ready to rock! have your buddy pump the clutch a couple times, then press all the way down and hold it. Then open the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. You Should should see air coming threw the fluid in the container you have the line submerged. Now close the bleeder valve/nut, then have your friend let the clutch back up off the floor. Repeat this process several times, till you don't witness any air being forced from the system. Note: in between bleeding process check fuild levels in the reservior. keep it full to insure your not allowing air back in threw low fluid levels. You should notice improvement in the clutch strength after each bleed cycle.
*10mm is just a guess on that make and model.
Hope this helps

same way you bleed the brakes. push clutch all the way to the floor and release the bleed valve on the transmission. tighten it up, release the clutch. Need 2 people to do it.
bleed clutch Saturn vue 2003
it means you have no clutch fluid(brake fluid) or that you possibly have a leak in the line somewhere or that it needs to be bled.might possibly be the master or slave cylinder.first check the clutch fluid resivor.if its empty then you need to top it off and bleed the line @ the master cylinder then at the slave cylinder.then find out why you have no fluid...the clutch fluid resivor is the smaller one of the two, check inside the car for a leak too, follow the clutch pedal to the firewall and you will see the small rod that goes into your clutch master cylinder,if you have a leak there the master cylinder is bad
Ford has used hydraulically operated clutches in the F250 for a long time. You don't adjust them. You could bleed it, if the clutch feels soft or spongy.
there dry clutch's, run a cable. no fluid. .:. you can't bleed it. :)
how do I bleed the clutch system in a 2004 ford ranger
after the clutch master cylinder has been replaced.
The clutch can't be adjusted. It is an hydraulic clutch. The clutch pedal sends pressure from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder on the clutch. IF you are having trouble with it the thing to do is bleed the air out at the slave cylinder. Have an assistant pump the clutch and hold it to the floor. Then open the bleed valve on the slave cylinder to let the air out of the system. On the final bleed hold the clutch to the floor and close the bleed valve on the slave cylinder. The clutch master cylinder operates of the brake fluid reservoir. Make sure you keep this full of brake fluid as you bleed the clutch.
To bleed a clutch on a Nissan Stanza, you need to find the bleed-off valve, usually somewhere near the slave cylinder.
up behind transmission under the intake manifold to be more comftable take the battery off or you can leave it on,its your choice.thanks.
shhould be da same way u bleed your break system... bleed valve on clutch master cylinder...
