on the car you will need someone to help you, but with the master cylinder you should have gotten some plastic fittings and hoses, put the fittings where the lines would go and put the hoses into the reservoir and have the other person push the pedal slowly a few times till there is no air left in the hoses, after that you will want to put the lines in, tighten all but one down, push the pedal down, while its still down, tighten the line, repeat at least twice for all lines, then bleed out the rest of the system starting with the right rear tire, then left rear, right front, then left front, always start with the tire farthest away from the master cylinder.
how do you bleed the clutch master cylinder in a 2005 mazda 3
There is no bleed screw on the 3.4 clutch. You have to unbolt the slave cylinder from the trans and drop it down so that it and the line are lower than the master cylinder, then pump the piston in/out to force any trapped air up to the master cylinder.
You do not reset a master cylinder. You should bench bleed it before installing.

If you allowed the master/reservoir to drain empty while the line was disconnected or installed the master dry, you may have to remove the master and bench bleed it first. Always keep the reservoir full during the process.
