I am a Ford master techician but I have an '87 camaro and have run into the same problem. It seems that no matter how much you try to bleed the system it will not purge the air. I own a tool that is primarily used for placing coolant systems under a vacuum and then, while the cooling system is under vacuum, it sucks in the coolant leaving the system air free. I had to use this device on my clutch system to get the air out and it was very decisive.
Many GM clutches of the era are not bleed-able. The clutch hydraulics may not be serviceable, replace as set only.
It needs a tune-up.
It is on the fire wall, to the right of the master cylinder, It is small
automatic is apart of the transmission manual is on the clutch pedal master cyl shaft
Hey guys, I trying to take off a fan clutch on my 2003 chev blazer and want to know if I have to remove the radiator to do it.
how do you connect the hyraulic master cylinder to the clutch slave cylinder on a 2000 chevy S10 pickup 2.2 4.cylinder
my chev aveo cant get a spark to the coil. What could be the problem?
CHEV
Chev.
At transmission is your slave cylinder,it has a rubber cover toward end, have someone push clutch pedal to floor and hold, then open bleeder screw, watch for air to come out, repeat this till no more air, dont let your clutch master cylinder run dry while you are doing this.
new chev keys can be obtained from chev by providing them with you VIN number
Theirs a safety swith on the cluch pedal arm under dash. Its a safety thing so if its in gear and the clutch isn't engaged it wont start and run thru ur garage, or the car in front of u . David G,
