Open bonnet and look at the left hand rear of the engine, there is a bleed nipples that looks like a tyre valve cap and is situated on the heater hose connection. There is another one on the right hand side of the engine which screws into the thermostat housing. On petrol models its an allen cap head 6mm i think,on diesels it looks like a brake bleed nipple with a hex head.Remove rad cap, start engine, keep coolant level filled to top of filler cap whilst bleeding, this is important to ensure all air is removed, bleed right hand side one first, completely remove left hand cap, water will spit and spurt water removing air, this could take quite a few minutes.Usually if you feel the front of radiator they should be warm from bottom to the top.You may have to repeat bleeding proceedure to remove all air, some models are more difficult to do when heater matrix radiator is partially sludged up.If no success with bleeding remove heater hoses from thermostat housing and connection near left hand bleed cap and flush both ways, you should be able to blow through these hoses without any back pressure,if you cant its a mega job to fit new heater matrix, good luck!
