Which amplifier converts millivolt to volt?

to convert a 100mv to 1volt u will have to multiply it by 10. so u will need a stepup amplifier to do that. u can depend on am op-amp based amplifier to do it if u r allowed to use external supply, else u will need a transformer for the same. Ashish.K

What happens if amplifier is connected t a DC voltage?

It will depend on the which kind of amplifier it is ,if it is made from Op amp(Non inverting Amplifier) it will simply amplify(multiply)the signal with a factor depend on the configuration of circuit which is also known as gain of the circuit. For instance if gain is 2(dimension less) and input DC voltage is 2 Volt output would be 4 Volts. and if it an Audio or RC coupled amplifier output would be zero Hence i Wrote in the starting "It will depend on the which kind of amplifier it is"

What is the diode and Why it is used in electronic circuits?

A diode is basically a electronic non return valve it let current flow in one direction only and can not be used for amplification it only consist of a cathode and anode, where the transistor can be used in many applications, for instance as an amplifier, electronic switch, oscillator etc. it consist of three connections eg. Collector, Emitter and a Base normally the current is collected at the Collector and emitted at the Emitter and the Base is used to control the current flow with the Base at 0 volt no or very little current will flow between C and E it will only switch on with the B at about 2.7volt and the higher the B voltage the more current will flow thru the transistor

What is the formula to calculate load voltage?

Power requirements are measured in KVA, which stands for Kilo-Volt-Amperes. To calculate the amount of power you require you would use the following formula. KVA = Volts * Amps / 1000

How you differentiate amplifier and transformer?

A big difference. A transformer converts power into more useful means of transportation or matching to the end results.Pincoming = IPVP = Poutgoing = ISVS.giving the ideal transformer equationVs/VP= Ns/NP=IP/Isthen as the outgoing voltage of the transformer increase, the outgoing current will decrease. An amplifier adds power. For example, voltage amplifier add voltage (amplify) independent the amplifier current.

What is the Frequency response of common emitter amplifier?

The voltage gain is a measure of the amplified output available at the collector terminal divided by the voltage measured on the base. This if you have 10 mV applied to the base and voltage of 1 volt at the collector the voltage gain is 100ANSWERThe maximum voltage gain of a common emitter amplifier is dependant on the transistor itself. Some have only a very small voltage gain such as in Radio Frequency Power transistors. These are almost all used as common emitter circuits for bipolar transistors or common source for FETs.. On the other hand some darlington transistors can have common emitter gains of hundreds of thousands. If the stage has an unbypassed emitter resistor, the voltage gain is equal to Rload/RE, (Rload is the parallel value of the resistance from collector to the supply and the resistance of the load). If the emitter resistance is bypassed, the value of resistance to be used for RE is the internal Re which is equal to 25mV/Ie

Can you hook a car amplifier to a home stereo?

No you cannot house amps use 120 volt ac car amps use 12 volt dc

Would a PNP transistor be conducting in this situation 0 volts at collector 1 volt at base and 2 volts at the emitter?

So for a PNP transistor to conduct the Emitter is always more positive with respect to both the Base and the Collector.

How do you calculate volts with volt amperes?

Divide the circuits amperage into the volt amps and you will get the voltage.

How do you calculate the current in a transformer?

By the volt metre.

Do twelve volt light bulbs work in six volt electrical systems?

They will only weakly glow. Make a rising transformer if it is AC, if DC it is still possible to make an amplifier.

Can a 12 volt battery charger use to power a 12 volts amplifier?

The battery charger can be used but it is not recommended. The battery charger does not have filtering on the its output like a power supply does. You will probably hear an AC ripple on the amplifier which will become very annoying when listening to the amplifier.

What is 9-volt battery on backside of bass for?

To power a very small internal amplifier inside the guitar. This is for the active cnotrols.
