How do you cancel MSN Messenger?

First, go to www.hotmail.com , and log into your account.

Than, in the right hand corner, it says, "Options" , click on that.

Next click, "More Options" . Under "Manage Your Account" , it says "View and edit your personal information" , click on that.

At the bottom of the page, it says, "Other Options" , and the fourth option down says, "Close your account" , click on that.

Read the instructions they give you, than enter your email and password to verify that its your account you're closing. Click Yes. Than it'll tell you whether it is closed or not.

If Not, than it's probably because you have another Microsoft email Account connected to it. Read the instructions and choose if you want to delete your account or not.

Just don't go onto the account. If you stay inactive for 30 days, msn will automatically close your account.
