They are always located on the rear exhaust pipe going towards the catalytic convertor. There is only 1 wire & plugin. They are usually easy to get to from below & don't generally require any kind of special tools to change.
There are two, in the exhaust on the back of the engine.
O2 sensor Heater Bank 1 Sensor 1
It has both an up and a down stream oxygen sensor.
That is the sensor in the exhaust manifold.
It is the sensor behind or in the catalytic converter.
There are two, one before and one in the side of the catalytic converter.
It is the sensor that is screwed into the exhaust manifold on the back of the engine.
It is located on the transaxle bellhouse) half way between the O2 sensor and the hydro. break pump.
BAnk one sensor one is above the cat on the back exhaust manifold. Sensor two is below the cat.
check on the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter. there are possibly 2 O2 sensors. unplug them and unscrew them with a wrench or buy a socket for an O2 sensor.

The 1994 Dodge Intrepid O2 sensor is located on the outside of the air cleaner housing. The sensor is on the back side of the housing.
