How do you change a O2 sensor in a dodge caravan?

They are always located on the rear exhaust pipe going towards the catalytic convertor. There is only 1 wire & plugin. They are usually easy to get to from below & don't generally require any kind of special tools to change.

the o2sensor(oxygen sensor)is on the exhaust if i recall right. There are (2) oxygen sensors on the 2001 Dodge caravan (in this case Sport / SE edition) One is accesable under the hood the other is down in the exaust array past the catalytic converter. If your error message is showing that your heating element is out in the O2 sensor... its the front sensor.

The O2 sensor bank 1, sensor 2, on a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, can be changed by first removing the air intake line. Next, remove the retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new sensor.

To change an O2 sensor you need to disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor. Use an O2 sensor socket and ratchet set to remove the old sensor and replace with the new one.

O2 sensor? Hey its a part and parts wear out. Oil additives or fuel additives can ruin an O2 sensor as well.

to change o2 sensor ,you need to buy a o2 sensor socket from a parts store then disconnect neg terminal on battery ,after that disconnect wire connecter on o2 sensor and remome o2 sensor

It is located behind the motor, if you go underneath your Caravan follow the exhaust to motor, you will see one o2 sensor first then you will see the catalytic converter. Then up at the end of the catalytic converter on the exhaust manifold you will see it. It is between the engine and the catalytic converter.

P0134 = no activity detected on the O2 Sensor, front pre-cat. Symptoms include rough idle/stalling & lousy fuel economy.
