As number 5 would say "Need Input"
Make?
Model?
Year?
Actually you don't need that info yet,but you will when you get to the parts store, most of them, given the make, model, year and engine size, can pull up a diagram to guide you in the process.
also if you go to the parts store and pick up the haynes manual for your car it has the diagram right in it. i have found that if you plan on doing any work on your car it is ideal to have the manual. and they are $20 tops

If you give year, make and model I could probably tell you or paste it as an answer.
Most cars come with OWNERS MANUALS. Its in there. Then, if its not, the DEALER will.
Missing diagram.
You dont need a diagram.. just trace the route with the eye.. Besides.. if your going to change the alternator belt.. you might as well change all 3 if its on the V6.. Oh.. and is a PIA job..
In order to change the serpentine belt for a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero, you must obtain a copy of the serpentine belt routing diagram from the manufacturer. Follow the routing diagram. Use a serpentine belt tool for loosening the tensioner. In order to position the belt, use a belt placement tool.
loosen the alternator and it will slide right off Check 2carpros.com for a belt routing diagram.
there should be a routing diagram on or near the top of the radiator. get a long pry bar and depress the idler arm to put slack in the old belt and remove it. installation is the reverse of removal, routing per the diagram. it'll take some fanaggling but you can actually get the belt around fan with out removing it.
Serpentine belts labels are being remove from cars and trucks by quick oil change company's. Like Jiffy lube
royal pain in the ass, look at your diagram under the hood for routing, i bought a serpentine tool, it has shallow sockets included, since theres no room on the idler.
Need help in routing the transmission drive belt on my 165 hydro john deere
Static routing is fixed, alternative routing is dynamic and therefore adaptive. If a primary route is fails, static routing will not adapt and routing is lost. However, alternative routing will dynamically change in order to maintain routing.
nodes often change their location within network. so, some stale routes are generated in the routing table which leads to unnecessary routing overhead.
To change the drive belt.: 1. There should be a routing diagram in the engine compartment, if there is not one make note of the proper routing so you can put the new belt on correctly. 2. Release the tensioner and remove the old belt. 3. Put the replacement belt in place, then release the tensioner and put the belt over the idler pulley and loosen the tensioner.
Static routing is used when there are a finite number of routes that never change. This allows you to optimize the table according to its size and provide the fastest routing algorithm possible. Dynamic routing is used when the number of routes change on a regular basis either in size or because some links change speed. These routing tables need to be reorganized on a regular basis and that takes time. Even though it may not take much time to reorganize the table, you must make sure not to affect any routing that involves quality of service constraints.
