You need to remove the Distributor Cap and then the rotor The CPS sits right underneither the distributor cap and is held in place by the caps mounting screws.
When the cap and rotor are removed, the CPS will lift right up. you then just need to unplug it from the connector on the drivers side of the engine. The CPS assembly looks like a flat circle with a wire hangin off of it and a hole in the middle.
Putting it back is just as simple, just make sure to note the position of cynlinder 1 on the cap, because the Sensor assembly must line up the same way as well. It will have a mark for cylinder 1 as well.
If you are looking to buy one, the stores list them as a Ignition pickup or pickup coil?
Might as well replace hte cap and rotor at this time too. The job is in a tight space, but if you remove the aif filter assembly, you will have enough room.
