The coils are on the back side of the engine and you can use a 5.5mm socket to take them off. The easiest way to access them is from underneath the car. For those with 3 speed automatics, removal of the intake manifold is necessary. 2 screws per coil pack and they come right out. Remember to label each plug wire 1-4. Are you crazy the easiest way is to take out the 2 15 mm engine mount bolts the engine will fall forewqard without damaging anything and the whole backside of the engine is exposed and the coils and coil pack bolts are fully exposed its a 20 minute job, the way your doing it it takes 4 hours, when your done chancing the coils or coil pack put a 2x4 between your floor jack and the oil pan and jack the engine back up and align the 15 mm bolts tighten them and your done

try looking at your resistor pack on the passsenger side lower the blower motor down and there is a heat coil and resistor in there
